| | Jianyang Huangkeng Snake Farm [edit this] | | Jianyang Huangkeng Snake Farm is located in Tangtou Village, Huangkeng Town, Jianyang City, covering an area of 3,000 square meters. It is consisted of Snake-biting Injury Prevention and Cure Institute, Snake Product Development Company, Snake School and Home of Bamboo Tourist Attraction. In 1980, a snake farm with simulated ecology was established for scientists to conduct scientific experiments of artificial propagation of five-pace vipers (Agkistrodonacutus). More than 3,000 five-pace vipers are growing there. Each year 3 kilograms of snake poison are extracted and sold to the overseas countries.
