Jingjiang Princes Palace is the home of one of the enthroned princes in the Ming dynasty. The palace is magnificent and grandly walled. As it is actually an inner city occupied by the princes and their families, it is called the Princes City.

One of the four famous ancient towns in Guangxi province, Daxu town has a history spanning over 1000 years. It is located on the north bank of the Li River, about 29km by river from Guilin.

According to research, this town was formed at the beginning of the Song dynasty. A 2.3km-long and 2m-wide stone street runs through the town with various ancient buildings lining both sides. These structures, mainly form the Ming and Qing dynasties, are famous for their magnificence, refinement and practicality.

The simple and elegant Longevity Bridge, built during the Ming dynasty, is located on the south side of town. The commerce in Daxu town first appeared in the Song dynasty and flourished at the end of the Qing dynasty.

Situated northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, 100km away from Guilin, the Longji terraced fields is a fascinating scenic spot for tourist. Being one of the 12 top class scenic spots in Guangxi Province, the fields has a history of 600 years, which were first constracted in yuan dynasty and completed in early qing dynasty.
These fields are result of hundreds of years wise management and hard work. The shinning terraces lace the mountain slopes like silver ribbons in spring. And summer breezes ripple the surface of the paddies in great waves. In fall layers of yellow crops make golden pagodas, and in winter hosts white snow dragons are said to make the terraces their home. The fields have combined magnificence and elegance, and form some of the finest scenery in China

Yangshuo, a small town by the Li River, is well-known for its super natural landscape. With comfortable climate, ever green vegetation, abundant rivers and jade-like hills, it is reputed as the fairyland under heaven. Thus goes the famous saying: Guilin's Landscape tops those elsewhere, while Yangshuo's landscape tops that of Guilin. The best known scenic spots include the Green Lotus Peak, YangShuo Park, Scholar's Page-Boy Hill, Old Banyan Tree and Moon Hill. Each scene differs from another with its characteristic. Even the same scene varies with the change of seasons and in different temperatures within the same day.

Sanjiang is a city in northern Guangxi province, China. It is the capital of the Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, a region traditionally inhabited by the Dong people, bordering Guizhou to the northwest and Hunan to the northeast.
