Poems Forest among Rocks is situated at the mountainside of Xianglu Peak, which was a newly opened scenic spot in May, 1988; it is autographed by the modern calligrapher Wang Xuezhong. All of its characteristics are manifested by a Chinese character “interest”, and it is the collection of the interest of stone, the interest of hole, and the interest of poems, among four best sceneries of Southern Mountain, it enjoys the elegant name of “the interest of the Poems Forest among Rocks”. The main scenic spots are the labyrinth, the lover stone, the flied-over stone, the human head stone, the immortal stove, the immortal pot, the small Western Paradise and so on, all of the sceneries them are made on the basis of the nature, on the cliff out of the cave, chiseled over forty poems and words singing praise for the Southern Mountain from modern and ancient times created by the contemporary famous calligraphy experts.

The long life village, which located at the middle of The Southern Mountain, includes more than 160 families. More than 640 people of this village scatter in the area from Huayan Lake to Jianlong, from Zhongshangou to Mirror Grinding Terrace and Nantai Temple. Green mountains and clean water create beautiful environment and comfortable temperature. The average temperature in summer is only 25.6℃ and 4-5℃ less in morning and evening. It is flourish forest around their houses and beside the road they go through. There is a kind of anion released from the forest, which is good for health and long life. The other important reason is the fresh air, especially in the flourish forest. It is relaxed and comfortable to breath the fresh air with anion in morning. Thus, people here always sleep early, get up early.
