Iron Buddha Temple

Iron Buddha Temple originally named Baoguo Temple, also known as Iron Buddha Nunnery. It was founded in the Southern Song Dynasty during Baoqing period (1225-1227). Located in Mountain Zhugao at the foot of the Mist and Glow, it's around one Li down to present Yehou Academy. The temple named for its big iron Buddha which is Amite Buddha weighing up to ten thousands Jin and casting in Ming Dynasty. Several white magnolia flowers are in the front of the temple. They blossom in midsummer and flowers perfume for miles.

Fuyan Temple

Fuyan Temple is located at the foot of mountain, which is in the east of Zhibo Peak; it is one of the ten jungles of Buddhism. It is very famous in the Chinese Buddhism history, which is the famous doctrine spreading scenic spot of the south part of zen, at present, it is the important cultural relic preservation organization of Hu'nan Province.
 
The temple was set up with along the mountain, occupying a land area of approximately four Chinese acres. The whole construction is the brick and wooden structure. As for the courtyard of hall, there are the Gate of Mountain, Zhike Hall, Mountain God Temple, the Great Buddha's Hall, the Ancestors Hall and so on in turn. On the gate of mountain engraves: “The world court”, and there are couplets on the both sides: “The ancient temple of six dynasties; the Buddhist temple of seven ancestors.”
 
Outside the right side gate of the temple, there is an old gingko tree, which is with one thousand, four hundred history. According to the legend, it once was initiated into monkhood by Buddhist Huisi, then it was proclaimed in the gate of Buddhism, at the entrance of mountain, there are three old gingko trees with over millennium age, which are expelled outside the temple for offending the monastic rules of Buddhism.

Danxia Temple

Danxia Temple was built by Zen master Danxia, who is the student of stone Buddhist, so it is named as Danxia. Danxia is also named as nature, so it is also called as natural Buddhist temple.

The current Danxia Temple bears the Gate of Mountain, the Five Mountains Saint Emperor Palace, and the Rear Palace in turn, under the main entrance, the surrounding area is spacious, from which you can look into the distance. On the top of lintel, inscribed “Danxia Temple”, which was newly engraved during the period of the Republic of China. At the end of Qing Dynasty, the monk in the temple Yujie made the sculpture of the god image of Five Mountains Saint Emperor in front of the palace, the bronze Buddha with the weight of half thousand kilogram was moved to the to the “July 1st Ruins” in the rear palace. On the one side of the front palace, opened a gate near the main road of mountaineering, while on the top of lintel, it is titled: “Five Mountains Palace”, so as to incur the pilgrimage of the pilgrims. Especially during the period of burning joss sticks in August, the pilgrims all enter the palace to worship the Five Mountains Saint Emperor, the incense and candle is extremely thriving.
