Lashan Hill National Forest Park is the key scenic spot of the “Water Margin” travel route introduced by National Tourism Administration. It is an ideal place for mountaineering and playing with water.

Lotus Hill is surrounded by nine peaks which look like a lotus flower and thus the name. With a long history, abundant historical relics and picturesque sceneries, Lotus Hill has attracted countless scholars and men of letters in the ancient times and has become a sacred place for Buddhism. At present, there are more than 150 tablet inscriptions and 200-plus stone inscriptions of the previous generations and a large-scale architectural complex including Yungu Temple, Gaoquan Temple and Wangchan Temple, etc.
