Ningyang crickets enjoy a long history and a good reputation far and near. During the festival, aside from the “Chinese Cricket Competition”, a series of cultural activities will be organized including “Chinese Cricket Seminar”, “Exposition of Famous Crickets in Ningyang” and “tourism of Mountain Taishan, Qufu, Liangshan Hill and Shentong Hill”. This festival has been listed as a major project of Mountain Taishan International Mountaineering Festival.

Mountain Taishan Temple Fair is a traditional activity handed down from the ancient times focusing on trade and entertainment activities such as Meeting of Immortals for the Longevity of Queen Mother of the Western Heaven and Buddhist rites to Bixia Ancestor. It has forcefully activated the economy and cultural life of Tai'an.

China Feicheng Peach Blossom Festival is held once a year, on which occasion, a multitude of cultural, economic and commercial activities are organized: exhibition of works of paintings and calligraphy, display and promotion of Feicheng, peach evaluation, exposition of local products, folk art performances and peach blossoms appreciation, etc.

The Mountain Taishan International Mountaineering Festival is a large-scale tourist festival which enjoys high reputation both at home and abroad. The main activities are: mountaineering competition on foot, mountaineering competition by bike, wonderful theatrical performances, Stone Culture Exhibition of Mountain Taishan, Cultural Relics and Treasures Exhibition, and other artistic and cultural activities.
