The Golden Buddha Mountain Scenic Zone was called Jiudi Mountain in ancient times, implying “nine layers, nine folds and nine peaks”, and lies in Nanchuan City, about 177 kilometers from Chongqing City.
    Here in the zone the towering mountains, numerous springs, forests, rocks and caves are merged into a whole, a perfect home for various rare species of animals and plants, including the “Five Treasures of Golden Buddha Mountain”, namely Silver Fir, Gingkgo, Big Leaf Tea, Square Bamboo and Cuckoo King Tree.
