Old Black Rock Town is located on the south suburb of Guiyang and is 29 kilometers from the urban district. As Guizhou Province's historical culture ancient town, Green Rock has many cultural relics amounting to over hundred.
Among which 23 spots had already been listed into (China cultural relic's atlas, Guizhou branch atlas). Under the Eternal Lion Mountain are many ancient cultural relics where you can spot everywhere.
The famous building built in Ming and Qing Dynasty are scattered around in the area. There are nine monasteries, eight temples, five pavilions, three caves, two ancestral halls, one palace and one courtyard amounting to 37 spots altogether.
There still remained 3 steles out of 8 steles now. These ancient constructions' design is exquisite, the workmanship is excellent, like Ciyun temple's stone carving, Longevity Buddhist temple's woodcarving art are among the rare and precious items in Guiyang.
The temple and the pavilion are full of paintings. The double-eave roof still maintained its graceful charm even thought it has been repaired for many years.
