| Emperor Festival [edit this] | | In Zhangjiajie, the most important festival of Tujia people is Emperor Festival celebrated on lunar month 9th, September. In local stories, the festival is commemorating Emperor Xiang dead on that day. The festival lasts one day and night or two days and nights. The people in participating must have tidy clothing.
