It stands on top of Tiantai Peak which is 1,306 meters above sea level. It is structured in wood and stone. The whole temple is make up with 3 parts of folk-living house. It sits across the dent formed by two hills; the east being Qinglong Range while he south being Yuping Tai. It is connected to the west and north with huge rocks, the dents being leveled with a stone base which is 8 meters in height, thus, an even surface is achieved. The bottom of the palace has been emptied, where some wells have been built. The building are sheltered by cliffs, with the effect of strenthening and protection combined. Its gate is in the south, which is an arched stone cave that is 3.4 meters in diameter and 4.2 meters in depth. To the east and north there are two cliffs facing each other, from where one can enter the second floor of the main building directly, which is 10 meters wide and 13 meters deep. Behind the palace there are side doors leading to Kwan-yin Hall, guesthouse and Yunshui Hall. There are many scenic spots around. The temple is the hightest one in mountain Jiuhua, which occupies 1,540 square meters.
