| | Xiuhuashan Museum [edit this] | | Xiuhuashan Museum is the first Tujia family museum in China, which presents rich Tujia culture to the visitors.
The founders of the museum are couple, Chen Chuhua and Gong Daoxiu. The museum is a traditional Tujia style building. The exhibits are mainly furniture from Ming and Qing dynasties mixed with Tujia clothing, painting, wood carving etc. which are all set up in a family arrangement. The museum also provides Tujia custom show which allows tourists to experience closely the local custom.

| Ruins of the Liye Antique City [edit this] | | Located in Longshan County, Ruins of the Liye Antique City, once a military fortress of the Chu Kingdom in the Warring States Period, is built adjacent to the Youshui River and covers an area of 10,000 square meters. The complete system of the old city is composed of city walls made by rammed earth, a city moat, houses and buildings, drainages and several old wells that distribute in and out of the city in order. From one of the three dried wells were discovered 30,000-odd pieces of bamboo slips of the Qin Dynasty, on some of which are written nine Chinese seal characters like “米、俊、蔡、德”. They are of great significance for the studies of Qin Dynasty history.

| Tujia Folk-Custom Park [edit this] | | Tujia Folk-Custom Park covers an area of over 13 acres. It brings cultural and natural sceneries in one. The park is a specialized tourism enterprise providing sightseeing, performance, rare animals and plants exhibition, hotel, catering, entertainment and shopping services to the tourists.
Tujia Folk-Custom Park is mainly made up of Tujia style buildings, custom show, performance, guest house, catering, hunting ground, botanical garden, root carving base and so on.
Most of the construction materials of the Tujia buildings are wood and stones. The construction style shows originality of Tujia nationality represented by Headman's Castle, Hand-waving Hall, Tujia fortified mountain village, Towering Mansion and so on.
Custom show mainly presents Tujia wedding, clothing, wax printing, weaving, silversmith, stonecutting, rooting cutting, cultural relic exhibition and so on. Traditional Tujia dancing is also staged in the park. A three-star hotel also locates in the park to provide modern facilities to the tourists. Tujia fortified mountain village offers Tujia style guest room and food.

| Nine Skylights Cave [edit this] | | Nine Skylights Cave is 17 kilometers from Sangzhi County, 70 kilometers from the downtown of Zhangjiajie City and 62 kilometers from Wulingyuan. It is named because of the nine natural skylights in the caves. The cave covers an area of 260,000 square meters. It is so far the biggest limestone cave in China, and three times as big as Lichuan limestone cave.
The air in the cave is very fresh. It is cool in summer and warm in winter in the cave. The cave has three levels and the bottom level is 400 meters below the ground level. 40 natural halls, 3 underground rivers, 12 waterfalls, 5 natural bridges and over 10 caves have so far been found in the cave. In addition, there are numerous numbers of stalactites in the cave.

| Puguang Zen Buddhist Temple [edit this] | | Puguang Zen Buddhist Temple was first built in the Ming Dynasty in 1413, 7 years prior the construction of Forbidden City in Beijing and 3 year prior the start of Golden Roof of Mountain Wudang.
Puguang Temple belongs to Linji sect, one of 5 sects of Chinese Buddhism. It ruled over 80 Buddhist temples, more than 200 monks in the area. There used to be 50 monks living in the temple. Grand Longhua Meeting was held 6 times between 1919 and 1943. Some 1,000 Buddhists from nearby provinces of Hu'nan, Hubei, Guizhou, Sichuan were ordained during the Grand Longhua Meeting. Thus the temple was regarded as first name temple in South China.
Puguang Temple covers an area of over 11,000 square meters. Its total construction area is more than 3,300 square meters. The entire buildings are traditional Chinese style, fine designed and splendid structures. The huge building complex is consisted of first main gate, second main gate, bell and drum tower, Precious Hall of the Great Hero, Hall of Arhat, Kwan-yin Hall, Jade Emperor Pavilion, Gaozhen Taoist Temple, Wu Temple, memorial archway and so on. The whole temple has the architecture characteristics from Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism together exist in harmony in the temple. Puguang Zen Buddhist Temple has very high study value in architecture and religion. It has been put down on the list of the important historical sites to be given special protection of Hu'nan Province.
